On Thursday 13th October 2022, during the Autocar Expo exhibition, CRMT, GRDF and the transport company Berthelet held a press conference with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and ADEME. At this occasion, the partners unveiled the next destination of the first ECOl'car coach from a fleet of 16 future units to be equipped with CRMT's bioNGV retrofit kit ; the north of the Isère department.
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region is the first transport authority to welcome a retrofit solution. For this Region, the energy mix in the transport sector will be made of diverse energies, including bioNGV.
