Since its creation in 1977, CRMT has developed comprehensive expertise in engine testing. In its early days, the testing center focused on standard fuel engines. However, for over 20 years, CRMT has expanded its expertise to include testing engines with alternative fuels, going as far as equipping itself with a hydrogen storage facility to test hydrogen engines in test cells.
Our expertise allows us to perform various types of services based on your needs, ranging from research and development (R&D) testing to certification testing.
THE DIFFERENT ENGINE TESTING SERVICES
We conduct various types of tests to meet your specific requirements :
- Research & Development (R&D): Develop and test new engine technologies or concepts.

OUR MULTI-FUEL TEST CELLS
Our facilities include multiple test cells equipped to test engines running on a wide variety of fuels:
- Standard Fuels: Gasoline, diesel.
- Alternative Fuels: Hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG), ethanol (E100), etc.
These installations enable us to conduct precise and reliable tests, regardless of your engines' technical specifications.

CORTEA : measuring pollutant emissions on light vehicles
CRMT has carried out R&D tests on various vehicles in the RDE cycle to measure various non-regulated pollutants that have an impact on air quality, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and sulfur compounds.
